The City of Hobart has been advised as of May 2, 2018 at 12:30 pm by Rieth-Riley, INDOT’s contractor for the state route resurfacing project, that they will be working from Cleveland Avenue North to U.S. Route 6 with intermittent lane closures on State Route 51.  They have suggested that the motoring public avoid the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and State Route 51 until after 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2018.  Local traffic will be able to pass through the construction area under the guidance of contractor employees.
