Updated 11/30/2023 Road Closure: Old Ridge Road

Update:
Old Ridge Road between Liverpool and Ridgelawn Drive will be closing for the Forcemain project. We anticipate the closure to last two weeks as the forcemain pipe is realigned to the south side of the road. Apologize for the inconvenience, this was not planned but we are continuously finding utility conflicts on the north side of Old Ridge that is significantly slowing the pipe installation.

Old Ridge Road, between Liverpool Road and Wabash Street, will experience frequent closures for utility work. While the work is underway, a marked detour will route eastbound traffic on 39th Avenue/Old Ridge Road north on Louisiana Street to Ridge Road/37th Avenue, then east on Ridge Road/37th Avenue to N Wisconsin Street, then south on N Wisconsin Street to Old Ridge Road/39th Avenue. Westbound traffic on Old Ridge Road/39th Avenue will be directed north on N Wisconsin Street to 37th Avenue/Ridge Road, then west on 37th Avenue/Ridge Road to Louisiana Street, then south on Louisiana Street to Ridge Road/37th Avenue. Access to Hillman Heights, Hillman Park, local businesses, and churches will be maintained during the frequent closures.
