Hobart Police code enforcement is charged with promoting the maintenance and upkeep of property, protecting the public health, safety, welfare, and preserving the quality of life in the residential and business areas of the City of Hobart.
The code enforcement department for the city of Hobart has recently been moved to the command of the Hobart Police Department. Its purpose is to enforce the Hobart Municipal Code in a fair and consistent manner to all citizens, and businesses alike. Our primary goal is to establish voluntary compliance through contact, education of the code, and guidance. Non-emergency Municipal Code complaints can be made by contacting Lt.
