The Hobart Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of full-time police officers and reserve officers. Eligible candidates must be in good physical condition, a high school graduate, and at least 21 years of age but less than 40 years of age at time of appointment. Starting salary $55,000

Salary after 1 year for general applicants $68,725

Salary after FTO for Lateral Applicants $$68,725
